PARTNERSHIPS OFFICER, NOC

The United Nations Resident Coordinator Office (UN RCO) in La Paz, Bolivia, is recruiting a Development Coordination Officer for Partnerships at the National Professional Officer (NO-C) level. Operating under the direct supervision of the Head of the Resident Coordinator Office, the incumbent plays a pivotal role in supporting the UN Resident Coordinator and the UN Country Team (UNCT) to advance strategic non-monetary partnerships, align resources, and accelerate the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The role encompasses leading multi-stakeholder engagements across civil society, government entities, private sector actors, technology startups, and research institutions. The officer will leverage data analytics, strategic foresight, and UN 2.0 principles to identify emerging partnership opportunities, manage joint resource mobilization initiatives, and design innovative financing mechanisms tailored to national priorities in Bolivia. Additionally, the officer is expected to foster collaboration through South-South and Triangular Cooperation, maintain active knowledge management repositories, and support local networks to embed sustainable development goals into broader institutional practices.
