Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Waves, Acoustics, Vibrations, Engineering and Sound (WAVES)

The Erasmus Mundus Master WAVES (Waves, Acoustics, Vibrations, Engineering and Sound) is an international two-year Master's course taught entirely in English. The program delivers multiple national Master's degrees alongside a Joint Diploma Supplement, supported by the Erasmus+ initiative of the European Union. It aims to equip students with comprehensive scientific expertise in acoustical engineering, covering advanced wave modeling, noise reduction in silent transport systems, audio equipment enhancement, and structural health monitoring. Students follow an integrated European mobility track across four institutions: Semester 1 at the University of Coimbra (Portugal) focusing on structural dynamics and building acoustics; Semester 2 at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain) exploring diverse acoustic fields and numerical methods; Semester 3 at Aix-Marseille University and Centrale Méditerranée (France) specializing in environmental acoustics and complex media; and Semester 4 worldwide for a thesis internship with academic or industrial partners.
