Data Analyst, P3

The United Nations Secretariat is seeking a qualified Data Analyst at the P-3 level to join the Development Coordination Office (DCO) Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean in Panama City. The role supports Resident Coordinators and UN Country Teams by providing analytical expertise, strategic foresight, and data-driven insights to accelerate progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this position, the selected candidate will design and manage databases, develop interactive reports and data visualization tools, and implement statistical methodologies to synthesize complex information for policy decisions. The role involves matrixed collaboration with technical experts across the UN system, strengthening regional data capabilities, and establishing data quality standards. This position offers a unique opportunity for experienced data professionals to drive evidence-based decision-making across international development initiatives. The post is offered for an initial period of one year, with potential extensions based on performance and operational requirements.
