Cybersecurity Operations Manager

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is inviting applications for a P4-level Cybersecurity Operations Manager based at its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Operating within the Information Services Department, the manager will lead the operational administration of ITU's cybersecurity infrastructure, orchestrate complex technical security projects, and oversee the 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) managed via an external provider. The successful candidate will oversee vendor SLAs, manage internal incident response workflows, and design robust disaster recovery procedures. Crucially, the role covers emerging technical security risks, including safeguards for AI/ML deployments, Large Language Models (LLMs), and autonomous AI agent containment. The manager will also lead organization-wide cybersecurity awareness initiatives and threat intelligence sharing across United Nations system partners.
