CaCTuS Summer Internship 2027 in Germany

The CaCTuS Summer Internship 2027 provides international undergraduate and master's students with an intensive three-month hands-on research experience at world-leading Max Planck Institutes and the Tübingen AI Center in Germany. Taking place from July 1 to September 30, 2027, the program targets talented individuals pursuing scientific fields such as artificial intelligence, neuroscience, machine learning, and cognitive science. The initiative emphasizes inclusion by supporting students who face personal, financial, regional, or social hurdles to advanced academic research. Participants work directly alongside senior scientists on cutting-edge research projects while developing essential technical and theoretical competencies. Beyond direct laboratory research, the fellowship encompasses comprehensive professional development through soft-skill workshops, scientific presentation coaching, career counseling, cohort networking events, and local institutional visits across the regional scientific ecosystem. This fully funded program covers travel costs to and from Germany, health insurance, and administrative support with accommodation arrangements. Interns receive a stipend to manage living expenses, allowing them to focus entirely on their research projects and build connections for future postgraduate studies.
